Windsor Dials provides two comprehensively redeveloped self-contained office buildings, each benefitting from new two-storey reception extensions. Windsor One provides 57,387 sq ft of office space, while Windsor Two provides 30,252 sq ft plus a 300 space multi story car park in the heart of Windsor.

The Challenge

This project consisted of a full Cat A fit-out to all floors on both buildings, including the carpark. Windsor Dials is comprised of two office buildings, which were both in need of a full design and build. The office spaces required close co-ordination in order to avoid clashes with other trades during the high-end installation.

The Solution

ProGen’s project management team has many years of experience within high-end installations in central London, so we were commissioned to provide a comprehensive design and build of all electrical services within the buildings. This, along with design interface with suppliers and specialist sub-contractors on site, was managed, coordinated and executed successfully by ProGen.

The full extent of ProGen’s design and installation responsibility included:

• Co-ordination and Design

ProGen provided a full design of the electrical systems, with our in-house design team avoiding any clashes from other trades services within the space. Progen provided a full BIM system of the two buildings.

• Lighting Infrastructure

ProGen provided full cabling and installation of the lighting package throughout the office spaces, and the high-end fixtures were fitted expertly throughout. The lighting package was fully integrated within the building management systems.

• Power

ProGen provided the full power infrastructure throughout both office spaces, with high-end accessories carefully installed throughout. The cabling and containment was expertly installed to the high expectations of the client.

• LV Distribution

All LV cabling and containment was also provided within ProGen’s package, along with the installation of a new LV switchgear and commissioning within the plant room.

• Automation

As with all high-end installation, the automation of the lighting was an essential part of the project. ProGen provided management of external specialist contractors and provided the base cabling to allow the automation of all the electrical infrastructure.

• Fire Alarm and Security

ProGen provided the full fire alarm and security systems cabling and containment within the office spaces with the system integrated within the office block central systems. The security systems provided the offices with high-end access control on all doors throughout.

• Data Services

ProGen provided the full Cat 6 cabling and containment within the space. The data cabling was installed along with specialist accessories to match the style of the backdrop.

The Outcome

ProGen worked tirelessly alongside Corley + Woolley to achieve an amazing result for the end client. The Project showcased all of ProGen’s strengths, from design to installation of electricals.
