ProGen services was approached by 3 Interiors to provide a full turnkey electrical services package for the fit-out of a luxury, ultra-prime North London penthouse and basement on Bishops Avenue.

The Challenge

Based on Bishops Avenue, London – also known as Billionaires Row – Buxmead is part of an award-winning complex by leading boutique developer, Harrison Varma, and so it was vital that ProGen provided the highest standard of installation with the minimum intrusion to other residents within the complex.

The penthouse posed many challenges, such as the logistics of its location within central London and other high-end apartments being occupied at the time of installation.

The Solution

With the extensive experience ProGen’s project management team has within high end installations in central London, the challenges posed by this project were quickly overcome. Full design, along with design interface with suppliers and specialist sub-contractors, was managed, coordinated & executed successfully by ProGen.

Key deliverables of equipment supply was an ever-challenging demand to the contract and programming of activities due to the very tight constraints of the site and available working areas.

The full extent of ProGen’s design and installation responsibility included:

• Co-ordination and design

ProGen provided full design of the electrical and automation systems with our in-house design team, avoiding any clashes with other trades services within the penthouse.

• Lighting infrastructure

With ProGen providing full cabling and installation of the lighting package through the penthouse, the final outcome was stunning. The high-end lighting chosen by the architect was expertly installed by ProGen.

• Power

ProGen provided the full power infrastructure throughout the apartment with high end accessories carefully installed throughout. The cabling and containment were expertly installed to the high expectations of the client.

• Automation

As with all high-end installations, the automation of the lighting and control of services such as blinds, was an essential part of the project. ProGen provided management of external specialist contractors as well as the base cabling to allow the automation of all the electrical infrastructure throughout the penthouse.

The Outcome

We successfully completed the project to the high standard our clients have come to expect, and the outstanding installation is testament to all the hard work and effort the entire project team invested into this prestigious penthouse apartment.
